At the beginning...
On the spectator side, you start off with a ground that can hold 6,500 spectators.
How big should I build my stadium?
Suggestions have put the optimum ground capacity at 16-17 x (number of fans) if your team is performing well.
The arena should be built using the following percentages for the 4 seating types:
- Standing Room - 45%
- Uncovered Seats - 40%
- Covered Seats - 11%
- Members Seats - 4%
It generally costs around AU$150k to add an extra 5000 seats to your arena.
Stadium upgrade costs
When building new seats, there is a fixed cost of $20,000 that will be charged irrespective of how much work is being done.
Building costs are as follows:
- Standing Room $15.00
- Uncovered Seats $25.00
- Covered Seats $30.00
- Members Seats $100.00
