Experience
Experience is gained by playing matches. Possibly events such as scoring 100 or 50 runs in an innings, taking catches, taking wickets etc may increase experience gained. Playing friendlies increase experience, but much smaller than playing a competitive match.
Experience required for captain
Experience and leadership.During the IRC Q&A on 17 Oct 2006, Allan stated:
"Can you gain experience as a bowler without taking a wicket? Yes."
During the IRC Q&A on 3 Sep 2006, Allan stated:
"How does experience affect bowlers and wicketkeepers? Good experience gives a +ve affect."
"Do milestones for batsman have a big influence on increase of experience? Not telling."
